The Hip Farewell
On May 24, 2016 The Tragically Hip announced that Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. The next day the band announced a 10 week tour across Canada which included two shows in Calgary. I was lucky to get tickets to both shows. Here are some of the images I captured from what was the bands final shows in Calgary on August 1st and 3rd 2016.
Sadly Gord Downie passed away on October 17, 2017.
